During her ten-month tenure with Marque Ventures, Captain Haley Spletzer will fully integrate within the firm's cutting-edge team, gaining invaluable hands-on exposure to pioneering practices and innovative methodologies.

In her role as an EWI Fellow at Marque Ventures, Haley will serve as a Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions expert for invested companies that are pioneering the future of American defense, manufacturing, and deep tech innovation. Drawing upon her extensive experience from five years in Air Force Contracting and her Defense Ventures Fellowship at Shift, Haley has acquired the skills to evaluate and support early-stage startups in the defense sector.
Prior to joining Marque Ventures, Haley held the position of a $25M warranted Procurement Contracting Officer in the U.S. Air Force. In this capacity, she was responsible for the sustainment of Aircrew Life Support components in multiple U.S. Air Force and Navy Fighter and Bomber Aircraft. Additionally, Haley managed contracts for base infrastructure and commercial services, consistently delivering high-quality and timely solutions for various mission requirements. Her overarching goal is to absorb knowledge from every available source and leverage this wisdom to drive innovation within the structured framework of the Department of Defense.
